Cookie Policy
Last updated: April 26, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how EDF GLOBAL GROUP LLC (operator of Modari) uses cookies and similar storage technologies on modari.app. By continuing to use the site without rejecting non-essential cookies, you consent to their use as described here and as required by EU ePrivacy Directive, GDPR, CCPA and Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012. You can change your preferences at any time from the cookie banner or your browser settings.
1. What are cookies
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device to remember who you are and your preferences across visits. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, session storage and, in some cases, first-party tracking pixels. This policy refers to all of these technologies when we say "cookies".
2. Categories we use
We classify cookies into three groups: (a) Strictly necessary — essential for the service to function; do not require consent under ePrivacy; cannot be disabled; (b) Analytics — help us understand how the site is used in aggregated, anonymous form; require consent; (c) Marketing — for personalization and campaigns; require consent. We currently do NOT use marketing cookies or third-party advertising.
3. Cookies we use in detail
The following table lists every cookie and storage technology we use:
4. How to manage your preferences
You have three ways to control cookies: (a) Cookie banner — on first visit we show the banner so you can Accept all, Reject optional or Customize by category. You can change your choice anytime by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer; (b) Browser settings — all modern browsers let you view, block or delete cookies. Check Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge or Brave help; (c) Global Privacy Control (GPC) — we automatically honor the GPC signal sent by your browser as a valid opt-out under CCPA/CPRA. Important: blocking strictly-necessary cookies will prevent the dashboard from loading and will log you out.
5. Third-party cookies
When you use Stripe's embedded checkout flow during signup, Stripe may set its own fraud-prevention cookies under its Privacy Policy. When you connect WhatsApp Business API, the official WhatsApp operator may set cookies under its policy. We have no control over third-party cookies — check their policies directly.
6. Retention
Session cookies are deleted when you close the browser. Persistent cookies (analytics, preferences) last between 30 and 365 days depending on purpose. Your consent choice is stored for 12 months, after which we will ask again.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies. Material changes take effect immediately and we publish the new version here with an updated date. If changes affect your prior consent, we will ask you to re-confirm.
