Creating a Modari account takes less than three minutes. The process is the same on desktop and mobile, and you do not need to install anything. Before starting, it helps to have a few things on hand: an email address you can access right now, a mobile number with active WhatsApp, and —if you are going to pay immediately— a credit or debit card.
Two ways to start
Modari lets you sign up in two different ways. Which one applies depends on whether you have a trial code.
With a trial code
Trial codes are handed out at events, private demos, or by direct invitation from our team. If you have one, you can sign up without entering a card and start free for the period the code indicates (usually 14 or 30 days). At the end of the trial, the system will ask you to add a payment method to continue. If you decide not to continue, simply do not add it and the account is suspended at no charge.
Without a trial code
If you do not have a code, you can subscribe directly. The first month is charged at signup, and from then on it renews automatically each month. You have the right to a full refund within the first 14 days, provided you meet the conditions described in the refund policy.
The process step by step
Open the signup page
Go to modari.app/signup. You will see a short form with three fields: full name, email, and password.
Fill in your basic info
Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the system —it is what your team members will see and what will appear on invoices you issue. Use an email you have access to now, because we will send you a verification code.
The password must be at least 8 characters and include numbers and letters. If your browser offers to generate a strong password, accept it and save it in your password manager.
Verify your WhatsApp number
Select your country in the phone code dropdown and enter your mobile number. We will send you a 6-digit code via WhatsApp. You enter it on the next screen and that is it.
This number is used to verify that you are a real person and, later on, as a second authentication factor if you decide to activate it. We will not send you promotional messages on WhatsApp.
Enter your trial code (optional)
If you have a code, type it in the corresponding field. The system validates it instantly and shows how many days are included. If you do not have a code, leave the field empty and move on.
Add your payment method (if you did not use a code)
If you did not enter a code, the next step is to add a card. The payment form is processed by Stripe, our payment gateway. Modari does not store your card number —we only keep an anonymous identifier to process recurring charges.
The first charge is processed immediately. You will receive the invoice by email in a few minutes.
Confirm your account and enter the dashboard
Once the steps above are completed, the system takes you straight to the dashboard. Your organization and your first workspace are already created with default values. The next article explains how to customize them.
What we ask for and why
- Full name: appears on invoices, in the profile menu, and as the sender when you send messages from the dashboard.
- Email: it is your unique identifier. It also receives invoices, important alerts, and system notifications.
- Password: encrypted before being stored. We never see it in plain text and we will never email it to you.
- Phone: used to verify your identity and, optionally, as a second factor.
- Preferred language: we automatically detect your browser's, but you can change it any time from the profile menu.
Common signup problems
"This email is already registered"
It means an account already exists with that email. It could be that you created it yourself in the past, or that someone on your team invited you to an existing workspace. Try to log ininstead of signing up. If you do not remember the password, use the "Forgot password" link.
The WhatsApp code is not arriving
Check that the number you entered is correct, including the country code. If the number is right, wait two minutes and tap "Resend code". The code is valid for 10 minutes. If after three attempts the code does not arrive, write to support.
My trial code says "invalid"
Codes can expire or have been used. If you received the code at an event or by email, check the validity date. If the problem persists, write to us with the code and we will help you check what happened.
What's next
With your account ready, the next step is to set up your workspace: define the business name, invite your team, and activate your first module.
